What is YOUR ministry? I was sorely tried in 2007 and 2008. In 2007 I faced a devastating crisis. This crisis guided me to finally join North Park CME after over 15 years of association with this House of God. In 2008 the Devil spent most of the year messing with my head, filling me with fear, uncertainty and doubt. In November 2008 I finally took steps to cast off that fear. (Uncertainty and doubt I am still working on!)

Fear is the main thing that we humans must master. Fear is part of the Original Sin. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they knew what they had done but fear made them hide from Him. God had to call them out, and when they revealed themselves, they made excuses instead of apologies. (Read Genesis 3:8-13 - Nothing but excuses.) So they were cast out.
After a whole lot of drama with His people, God finally sent His Son to redeem us from that Original Sin, with the potential for ALL of us to release the Fear that is part of it.
When you release your fear, you will find your ministry.
My ministry lies within my beloved Church Home, and God, through His Son Jesus, has told me to stop with this fear mess and 'just do what I tell you to do'.

I tell you truly - smile at someone you may have never before considered smiling at. Help someone that you may have never before considered helping. Wake up in the morning and resolve to trade irritation for tolerance. You will be amazed at how good you will feel at the end of the day. It costs nothing but a smile and a little bit of tolerance. The rewards are priceless. This can be your ministry. Just this small start. Who knows where it may lead?
